High Durability and Extending Machine Life 3 ~ 5 times
WS2 achieves a dynamic coefficient of 0.030 and static 0.070 to 0.090. Pressure, surface finish and surface hardness will affect these results. Extensive real time, real life wear indicates little change over time unless severe overload conditions are introduced.
Energy saving and Reducing Noise
WS2, modified Tungsten Disulfide Coating that provides exceptional lubricity and wear-life. Under the very low friction force on the metal surface, the machine drive unit is able to save the power and to reduce the noise from the surfaces wearing.
High chemical stability and Environmental-Friendly
WS2 is inert, non-toxic, and non-corrosive and can be applied to all stable metal substrates. It is impervious to most solvents, refined fuels and chlorinated solvents. WS2 is resistant to corrosion but can’t inhibit the effect of corrosion on inherently low resistance materials.
High load bearing ability
WS2 lubricants are to decrease the c.o.f during the load increasing as cof 0.044 at 20,000 psi and cof 0.024 at 200,000 to 400,000 psi.
This mean the high load bearing capability of WS2 lubricant. Load bearing ability is 300,000 psi for the coated film (0.5micron).
High temperature bearing ability
WS2 operates from -273 to 650℃ in normal atmosphere and 1,320℃ in vacuum. At approximately 440℃ there is an oxidation threshold and the rate is quite slow compared to other lubricants. Out-gassing characteristics are quite low too.
